"I would encourage every bride to stop your search for the perfect wedding photographer; Rachel and the Papillon team are just that. It all started back in 2017 when Rachel photographed my high school senior photos, so when I got engaged in 2020 I knew it had to be her team! "We met Rachel at a vendor event that our wedding venue had about a year before our big day. There were several other photographers there showing off their work, but she immediately stood out in a class of her own. Her previously photographed weddings were just breathtaking. Additionally, she was extremely friendly and easy to talk to. By the time we left that day, we decided we had to have her for our wedding. After booking her, we ended up doing an engagement session as well, and it really could not have gone better. She is so talented and creative, and the photos turned out absolutely stunning. She even handled all of our picky requests for any specific photoshop edits we wanted, and still managed to get the results over to us shortly after the session.
Leading up to the wedding, Rachel turned out to be the most valuable resource we had in terms of scheduling and planning. Even more so than our actual wedding planner/coordinator. She had multiple calls with us to make sure we had a timeline planned down to the minute for the wedding day, and helped us with things we would have otherwise not even considered. When it finally arrived, that helped everything go so smoothly and eliminated a lot of stress that could have been! She and her assistant captured all of the important moments perfectly, but our favorites turned out to be the many candid shots we didn’t even realize they were there to get. There are plenty of wonderful photos of each member of our wedding party, our guests, and of course our family members. She managed to turn the photos around extremely quickly after the event, sending them over to us within a few weeks. We could not be more pleased with the incredible photos we have to remember the best day of our lives.

"WOW. Rachel is simply incredible at what she does. Her eye for photography is unlike any other wedding photographer I have seen. On top of that, she has the ability to make you feel comfortable (for us awkward people out there). She was also so supportive on the journey leading up to our wedding day - meeting with us for at least 1.5 hours to discuss timeline, detail shots, our photo priorities, etc.

Only 2 weeks after the wedding she sent us 675 edited photos and is also giving us the chance to purchase the RAW photos at an amazing price! Her professionalism is amazing, her attention to detail is really key to how the photos turned out, and she was so fun to work with! She was a lifesaver when it came to making the timeline of the day, especially with all of the crazy timing rules due to my church during COVID. They stayed in constant communication with me from day one and I was always in the loop regarding any changes with the shot list and timeline for the big day. Being that I lived in Houston, we had an introduction FaceTime call and they were there to answer any and all questions that I had. "HIGHLY recommend Rachel and her crew for an incredible photography experience. Not only did she capture my wedding beautifully, but she also made my day so much fun! Her flexibility with all our last minute changes was amazing. I booked Rachel in the middle of May for a July wedding, and then due to my husband's military schedule, we had to change our date 2 weeks before the wedding to the following weekend. Rachel STILL made the date work! In peak season! Three days before the new date! Rachel also was MVP for my wedding day. With the last minute nature of our day, I didn't have hair, makeup or a planner (any other assistance). Rachel actually helped with my hair, completed my eye makeup AND created our schedule that kept us all on track and made the day a logistical breeze! "An absolute dream! Rachel and her team were everything I imagined and more as our wedding photographers. From our first inquiry to our final photo gallery delivery she was professional, kind, and overwhelmingly talented. We first met her in person at our engagement session where she captured the most beautiful photos of me and, my then, fiancé. She was willing to travel to the shoot location and open to all of our ideas and wishes! Ourselves and family and friends included were blown away with our engagement photos and immediately got excited for our wedding photos, knowing that they would be just as wonderful. Rachel took time, even in the midst of the pandemic, to meet face to face (via FaceTime of course) to plan out our wedding day-of timeline to ensure that we got all the shots we desired and to make sure that she and her team were able to get all the info from us that they needed to make their experience successful as well. (Your photographers cannot do their job unless they know the ins and outs of your day, and that's your responsibility to give it to them! They did a great job at making sure they had all the info they needed.) Rachel had so much insight and advice when it came to planning how we wanted our day to pan out and it turned out absolutely perfect. All of our other vendors were so impressed with her timeline and it helped our day run seamlessly. The day of came and went in a flash but it went off without a hitch! Rachel and her team stayed cool, calm, and collected the entire day regardless of anything else going on. She gave me the confidence I needed all day knowing that the day was going wonderful and that it was all about myself and my husband and what we wanted. The few times I got flustered she went above and beyond her call of duty to help me through whatever the situation was (including completely repining my hair piece that turned crooked 30 mins after having my hair done - talk about panic!)
